My story - Ocean Petal studio

We live many stories in this one life we're given.

Ocean Petal Studio began with a simple belief: that comfort and meaning belong in the things we surround ourselves with.
I'm Nancy—a Southern designer, caregiver, and night owl who believes that comfort is no longer a luxury or a side note.  It is, in fact, vital to our well being. 

 My studio and this story began several years after I started taking care of my mom. While there is nothing I can do to ease her physical, chronic pain I made it my mission to find other ways to bring her some comfort. Whereas comfort can be found in many forms and fashions; I focus on sensory comfort: Sight, touch, smell, etc. 

 Ocean Petal studio is my way of sharing that comfort forward. These pieces aren't just for caregivers (though they're made with them in mind) my creations are also for anyone who just wants to slow down and create a safe and comforting haven in this ever-increasing chaotic world.

While you're here check out Southern's corner! Southern is my fur baby, office assistant and occasional mischief maker. She's in charge of product testing, making sure there are no matching socks anywhere to be found and she reminds me to take breaks. If you see a 2 paws up 🐾, it's met with her approval!
